Anioma Watch Social Association, popularly known as Anioma Watch, is a socio-cultural organization dedicated to promoting the interests, unity, and development of the Anioma people.
The organization was founded by Dr. Emeka Esogbue, who serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Other pioneer members include Rev. Felix Ifeanyi Nwabuokei, Dr. Anthony Ezeagbor, Mr. Awele Oranye, Mr. Peter Oshagwu, Miss Ifeyinwa Izegbu, Miss Eunice Emeyazia, and Mr. Dumebi Ohanwusi.
Anioma Watch is a duly registered socio-cultural organization representing the interests of the Anioma people of Delta North, Nigeria, as well as Anioma communities in the diaspora. The association is committed to community development, the preservation and promotion of Anioma culture and heritage, public advocacy, youth empowerment, and civic engagement.
As a regional watchdog and public affairs organization, Anioma Watch monitors developments affecting the Anioma nation and regularly issues press statements and position papers on socio-political, economic, and cultural matters of public interest. Through constructive advocacy and public discourse, the association seeks to promote good governance, accountability, and sustainable development across the Anioma region.
The association maintains a strong presence across social media platforms, using digital channels to engage members, disseminate information, and encourage public participation in issues affecting the Anioma people. Its membership comprises individuals from all parts of the Anioma region, united by a shared commitment to the progress and welfare of the Anioma nation.
