It is concerning by that the Youth Council has remained "in the cooler" for so long; since its dissolution, proactive steps should have been taken to reconstitute this vital body. We must ask ourselves: why the delay, and how much longer must we wait? Nature abhors a vacuum. In modern governance, no community administration is complete without the active participation of its youth. Administrative voids are dangerous; for Ibusa to function without an institution as sensitive as the Youth Council demands urgent reconsideration.
