 Our Anioma People Should Appreciate Our Akwa Ocha Like the Yoruba and Edo Do - Akwa-Ocha Designer, Precious Adigwe Precious Adigwe, a Master’s Degree holder in Mass Communication, is a household name in the design of the Akwa-Ocha cultural fabric of the Anioma people with her products that easily circulates within and outside Anioma, up to overseas, making her one of the most sought after in the local fabric industry. BBC AFRICA SHOWCASES PRECYPAT'S AKWA-OCHA DESIGNS OF THE ANIOMA PEOPLE - Emeka Esogbue (Pen Master) In a rare promotion of the culture of the Anioma people, a group in Delta State, Nigeria, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on Saturday arrived at Ibusa to showcase Precypat's Akwa-Ocha designs to the world. Precypat Designs, now Anioma's most circulated Akwa-Ocha fashion outfit is run by Mrs. Precious Adigwe from Ibusa in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State that sells all kinds of designs of the fabric it produces. 2022 11 ANIOMA NATIVES, CURRENTLY BEHIND THE PROMOTION OF ANIOMA CULTURE Although the Anioma people are blessed with rich and unique aspects of culture, many of which cannot be found anywhere else, only very little were known of the people's culture before now. This was due to several reasons and one such implication was the near assimilation of the people until a set of people rose to the occasion.  However, with time, not a few natives started some projects and initiatives that assisted in preserving and promoting the people's culture.
