 Grand Patron of OFAAC: HRM Obi Emmanuel Efeizomor Honoured at Anioma Cultural Festival Story By Emeka Esogbue His Royal Majesty, Obi Dr. Emmanuel Ayinke Efeizomor II, JP, (OON), was conferred with the Grand Patron of the Organization For the Advancement of Anioma Culture (OFAAC) on April 21, 2025, at the Anioma Cultural Festival venue. This prestigious honour is an indication of his tireless efforts in promoting Anioma's rich cultural heritage. He was recognized for his relationship with the body and contributions towards the growth and development of the Organization.  Gideon Nwaomu, OFAAC Promoter of Anioma Culture, Rest in Peace Recently, the Anioma media is again, awash with the recent news of the demise of Mr. Gideon Nwaomu, the CEO of Giddy's Place, Asaba, Delta State.  Three of my OFAAC mentors have passed away in a short amount of time, including Omu Martha Dunkwu, the regular OFAAC face whose Anioma appearance and dress were selling the Anioma people to the media.  People would always point to her to ask, who that woman was. The second victim was Hon Emeka Nmadu and third third was Mr. Gideon Nwaomu, the latter two who were Directors of the Organization.  Omu Anioma United Us, the Enuani People - Emeka Esogbue  The late Omu of Anioma, HRM Obi Martha Dunkwu will remain in history as one who invited us cultural unity and one contributed to the lifting of the Okpanam community. As it relates to bringing our people together, strengthening and promoting us in cultural terms, I can think of HRM Obi Martha Dunkwu, Arc Kester Ifeadi, Idumuje-Unor-born Chief Michael Odiakosa, Gideon Nwaomu and a few others. 2022 11 ANIOMA NATIVES, CURRENTLY BEHIND THE PROMOTION OF ANIOMA CULTURE Although the Anioma people are blessed with rich and unique aspects of culture, many of which cannot be found anywhere else, only very little were known of the people's culture before now. This was due to several reasons and one such implication was the near assimilation of the people until a set of people rose to the occasion.  However, with time, not a few natives started some projects and initiatives that assisted in preserving and promoting the people's culture. OFAAC, the culture umbrella of the Anioma people returned to the action of promoting and preserving the people's culture after a two-year break.  There seems no group or organization anywhere that has showcased, preserved, or projected the Anioma culture as has been the case with OFAAC.
