The 95-year old Diokpa, in a 16-clause communique, published on Thursday in the Vanguard Newspaper of August 18, 2022, revealed that the bone of contention was issues regarding ownership and administration of land in his Umuodafe domain. He, therefore, constituted a peace panel to look into the particular areas of trouble as it affects the people and make reconciliation subsequently.
