 Years in the Cooler: How Long Must Ibusa Wait for Youth The Obuzo-in-Council and by extension, the Ibusa leadership must prioritize the restoration of the Ibusa Youth Council. It is concerning by that the Youth Council has remained "in the cooler" for so long; since its dissolution, proactive steps should have been taken to reconstitute this vital body. We must ask ourselves: why the delay, and how much longer must we wait? ​Nature abhors a vacuum. In modern governance, no community administration is complete without the active participation of its youth.  Ibusa Community Set to Install Chief Charles Okonkwo as Odogwu of Ibusa By Emeka Esogbue All is now set in the ancient Ibusa community, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, as it prepares for the momentous final conferment rites of one of its highest traditional honors on Chief Charles Ositadinma Okonkwo. The noted industrialist and philanthropist will receive the prestigious title of Odogwu of Ibusa. According to a statement signed by Onowu (Sir) Ossy Nwadei, Chairman of the Odogwu Conferment Committee, the installation rites will be conducted by the community's traditional ruler, HRM Obi Prof. Louis Nwoboshi, the Obuzo of Ibusa.  Idowu Okeze Blesses Ibusa With Multiple Projects, Unveils State of the Art Civic Centre in the Community Story By Emeka Esogbue  Ace Ibusa philanthropist, Pastor Idowu Okeze reassured the Ibusa people of better days ahead with donations of projects made to the Ibusa people on Friday.  In the spirit of love for the community, Okeze opened the CIDO Asthma Foundation, a state-of-the-art hospital with cutting-edge technology never seen in the community.  Pastor Idowu Okeze was commended by HRM Obi Prof Louis Nwaoboshi, the Obuzo of Ibusa who commissioned the hospital, for his unfathomable love, which inspired him to select the town as his location.  The Obuzo's Prophecy and the Shortness of Ibusa Organizations - Emeka Esogbue In 2008, Miss Florence Bob-Okonkwo of the Nkpanyala sector of Ibusa approached me and expressed her desire to start an Ibusa association, which we eventually dubbed the Ibusa Like-minds Association.  After careful consideration, I concluded that the proposed organization's goal was to contribute to our community's social development through seminars and lectures, and because it was an Ibusa project, I bought the idea and agreed to participate in the project.
