Bring Back Our Boys from the Bush: Prof Augustine Esogbue Makes Donation of Books to Ibusa Library

Now, Emeritus at the prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), Esogbue, a celebrated systems engineer, on Friday donated valuable books to the Delta State Library, Ibusa.
Prof Emeritus Augustine Onwuyali Esogbue while making the donations said "Ibusa must rise, we must bring back the glory (sic) days of Ibusa".
"We must bring back our boys from the bush and to the library."
"bush to book", "Believe, begin and become, something sustainable" the revered philanthropist and mentor of black youths further said according to Chiedu Bandoh, P.A. to the Oshimili Local Government Chairman who reported the event.
According to Chiedu Bandoh, the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon Innocent Esewezie who was represented by the Council Secretary, Mr Austin Eloka Ajufo thanked Prof Esogbue for helping to promote learning to Ibusa readers through the African Children Fund group.
It was learnt that Prof Augustine Esogbue facilitated the project through the African Children Fund to capacitate reading culture in the community.
Born to Ibusa parents in Isieke, Ibusa in Delta State, Esogbue was a founding faculty advisor National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Georgia Chapter, at Georgia Tech. It was in 2014 that the NSBE
named him “Advisor Emeritus” though he retired in 2010.
Prof Emeritus Augustine Onwuyali Esogbue is globally acclaimed in the fields of fuzzy mathematics, intelligent controls, and safety engineering, making him one of the greatest blacks in this area.
He is also the Ozokilolo of Ibusa.
