Miss Chinonyedue Chioma Agetua is trending on social media for an excellent record in her university performance.  


The young Ibusa lady, a student of the Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, is in the news for winning four out of the six academic awards available to the university's Department. 


Academic information on the 2022/2023 Departmental Prizes for Best Students of the Department released to the public, a copy available to PEN MASTER shows that Miss Agetua emerged as the Best Student in Pharmaceutical Microbiology with an overall CGPA of 4.67. 


Chionyedue Agetua went ahead to superbly win the Department's Best Student in Pharmaceutics/Pharmacy Technology with a CGPA of 4.67. She also won the Clinical Pharmacy, scoring 4.67 as the highest CGPA, and Pharmacology and Toxicology, where she recorded a CGPA of 4.67. 


The Pharmacognosy, prize was won by Olaniyan Saleem who had a CGPA of 4.60, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry by Enejo Happiness who recorded a 4.36 CPGA


Dressed in the school's academic gown, Chionyedue Chioma Agetua was seen in a video, making a valedictory speech where she showed promises of making intellectual advances in the field.  


Rich in human capital, the Ibusa community located in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State is known for academic feats, having at the moment, over 100 professors in different endeavours scattered across the world. 


The community's traditional ruler, HRM Obi Prof Louis Nwoboshi is a Professor of Forestry. 


A few years ago, 12-year-old Master Chikadibia Ofili from the community was reported to have discovered a new formula in mathematics, which consequently placed him in the Guinness Book of Records.


Recall that a few weeks ago, PEN MASTER had also reported Prof Mrs Esther Oweleke of the University of Port Harcourt's recent promotion to the position of Professor of Applied Linguistics. 


Incidentally, PEN MASTER just released a book, "Book of Records: A Compendium of Ibusa Firsts and Achievers." The book is an effort by the author to document as well as present the human achievements of the Ibusa people to the world.
