Emeka Esogbue emerges social media personality of the Year

Historian Elder Emeka Esogbue was among other awardees honoured recently in Delta State. Esogbue polled higher votes from Ibusa online voters to emerge the "Social Media Personality of the Year for 2015". The maiden edition of the award organized by Deluxe Fete Entertainment and powered by a number of organizations held in Ibusa, Delta State, Nigeria on December 28, 2015 where the Anioma Advocate among other awardees received the honour.

Elder Esogbue said he was dedicating the award to Igbuzo Singles Meet, an initiative founded by him in 2012, which mainly concerns itself with the promotion of Ibusa inter-marriage. 
The award was received on his behalf by Miss Naomi Dada Okoisor, the Vice-President of Igbuzo Singles Meet who said Elder Emeka Esogbue was elated that his favourable use of the social media to effectively communicate the Anioma people's history was being recognized a mark of appreciation.    

The "Pen Master" as he is fondly called by his online admirers is the Research Editor of Anioma Essence Magazine, a publication of the Organization For the Advancement of Anioma Culture (OFAAC) since 2011.
