 Ibusa Pays Final Respect to Omu Augustina Nando, the late Omu of the community  By Emeka Esogbue The final funeral rites of the last Omu of Ibusa, Omu Augustina Ogugua Nando was conducted in Ibusa yesterday being Eke day. The final rites of the funeral natively known as "Ife ilo" were conducted to give the late Omu who was popular for her discipline and knowledge of the Ibusa customs and tradition, the last respect culturally expected of an Omu in the community where culture is heavily cherished.  Omu Nando was the last Omu of Ibusa whose reign ended the more than 400 years of the traditional institution of the Anioma people in the community. Since then, the community has been struggling to rebirth the foremost traditional female institution which gave women in the community and Anioma as a whole, a true sense of belonging.  Anioma National Congress: Matters Arising The election is here again and they are beginning to make Anioma look more precious than God's heaven. The truth is that Anioma is yet to have a socio-cultural organization in the magnitude of Afenifere, Ohanaeze, Arewa, Urhobo Progressive Union, Middle Belt Forum and our people need it to have the same voice that others in the nation have. The Anioma National Congress is a political group that begins and ends in Delta State and has no eyes and ears outside the state. It is about Anioma politicians and their affairs inside the Delta womb.  Sam Obiago's Death Throws Anioma into Mourning Emeka Esogbue The Anioma nation is bleeding following the death of Nollywood's Samuel Sam Obiago popularly called "Big Daddy" by his fans. The death of Sam Obiago, Nollywood actor, filmmaker, TV personality, and movie producer was confirmed by Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.  Sam Obiago who hails from Asaba in Delta State, is a former banker who worked with ECOBANK and Access Bank before venturing into the movie industry. He reportedly died early Thursday after complaining of weakness.   The actor, one of the most popular in the sector, attended St. Gregory's College, Lagos later Institute of Management Technology where he studied Mass Communication. He later obtained M. Joshua 'Blesses' Ukala Kingdom with Christmas Rice - Emeka Esogbue UKALA KINGDOM, comprising Ukala Ikpunor and Ukala Okwute, a neighbouring community of Onicha-Olona, in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State was thrown into a joyful mood when Mrs. Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, the televangelist, philanthropist, leader and founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, visited the community with a trailer load of rice, she distributed to the natives.  Edwin Ofuase, an Ukala indigene who described the wife of the late Prophet as God sent to humanity at the right time and season, prayed God to extend his blessings to her for the milk of kindness shown her Ukala people.  Evelyn the daughter of Akabude from Umuakale, Ukala, and her late husband, T.
