Some of those figures with powers that affected her cannot be ignored. Typically, Pen Master has put together this compendium of figures that in his OWN OPINION influenced the community, one way or the other in different endeavours. ANOTHER AWARD FOR EMEKA ESOGBUE (PEN MASTER) Celebration time! It is now looking like every December comes with an award for me. Yesterday, December 28, 2017 being the occasion of the All Ibusa Singles’ Conference which took place in Ibusa, Delta State will remain memorable in my life. It was also an occasion in which I was honoured with an award "for the mentorship of Ibusa youths", a recognition coming from the "Marriage Planning Dept" of Igbuzo Singles Meet. So far, the journey with all of its hurdles has not been easy but I thank the Almighty God for bringing me thus far. Many thanks to the entire members of Marriage Planning Dept. I salute you starting from Miss Naomi Okoisor, the Head of Department to the last member. I am proud of this Dept and love you all.

THAT CHIEFTAINCY CONFERMENT CEREMONY OF NWADIALOR On December 27, 2017, it was the chieftaincy conferment of Chief Michael Brian Onyekalichukwu as the Nwadialor of Idumuje Kingdom. Venue was Idumuje Unor, an Aniocha community of Anioma and I was there live in the entourage that included Isheagu-born Miss Precious Utulu, the current Miss Teen Anioma, Great Novelist and Author of Wild Ixora, Philip Ngozi Ifechukwude-Kwusike, Yinki Entertainment initiator and Akwa Ocha Advocate, Mi ss Kate Ify Igbodo, Christie Bendu Achakpo, Mayor of Ibusa, Emmanuel Kwasa Tozo Amatokwu, my cousin, Ohzed Okwudishu and Frima PR, Mr. Godfrey Chukwudifu Osakwe . A History Of Wars Fought By The Warriors Of Ibusa  By Emeka Esogbue History recalls that the 7th Obi of (formerly an Isu Kingdom), Eze Orimili hired Igbuzo mercenaries against Oraifite and Ichi communities, not only did Igbuzo help Eze Orimili’s Uruagu to win the war but also had Akabo Oraifite and Akabo Ichi annexed to Uruagu, Nnewi. The appropriation of Akabo Oraifite and Akabo Ichi and close affinity with Ndi Olu exalted Eze Orimili above his contemporaries who feared and respected him while every of his actions were still suspected. This caused neighbouring communities to put an eye on him, monitoring every of his actions. Dr Alutu, another Igbo historian described him as a ruler that wanted more, having achieved initial success with Igbuzo allies. At the lobby of a hotel in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria where I had taken my two teenage sons to a few years back for an Anioma art exhibition as part of our occasional family cultural homecoming, laid a copy of a magazine ‘Anioma Essence’. A read, piece by piece of the articles contained in the magazine, was my first encounter with Emeka Esogbue, Research Editor of the magazine. On further enquiry, the ‘Pen Master’ as he turned out to be known and fondly called, is my Isieke-Umuekea Village kinsman in Igbuzo, a historian and avid writer.
