Anioma National Congress: Matters Arising

The election is here again and they are beginning to make Anioma look more precious than God's heaven. The truth is that Anioma is yet to have a socio-cultural organization in the magnitude of Afenifere, Ohanaeze, Arewa, Urhobo Progressive Union, Middle Belt Forum and our people need it to have the same voice that others in the nation have. The Anioma National Congress is a political group that begins and ends in Delta State and has no eyes and ears outside the state. It is about Anioma politicians and their affairs inside the Delta womb. The Anioma people are yearning for a voice in Nigeria and need to be heard socially, economically, and politically and also readily take positions as other socio-political organizations do. Anioma is terribly shortchanged. In time to come, the people of Anioma should come together to establish a socio-cultural group for the region outside the political groups that exist, one of which is the Anioma National Congress. We truly need it.
