By Emeka Esogbue Saturday, September 29, 2018 Reports from Ibusa in Oshimli North Local Government Area of Delta State say there has been a steady decline in the financial support of the Ibusa Community Police otherwise known as ICP, by a corp of Ibusa sons and daughters over the past months, resulting in a backlog of unpaid allowances to the ICP Operatives. This disclosure was made recently in the community by Dr. Austin Izagbo, the President-General of the Ibusa Community Development Union (ICDU). Sources from ICP who spoke to this reporter on anonymity believe that the continuous provision of financial assistance to corps of the Community Police by same charitable hands from the community has understandably waned, culminating in decline in productivity of the services rendered by these Operatives as currently witnessed.
